AQTIS 514 IATSE

How to qualify

Recognized in a position: 90 days worked. Membership itself needs no days. Days count toward being recognized in a position: 90 for a camera assistant, other positions differ (120 for an ENG DOP), on 2 or more productions. A day under 5 hours is half a credit. Requirements vary by department.

Complete the mandatory "Initiation to Community Life" training
Membership needs no days of work: take the Initiation to Community Life course and pay the fees

Application fee: First year: $450 AQTIS 514 IATSE file opening and $100 IATSE file opening (both once), plus $300 annual dues.

Residency: QC Residency required.

Dues: Members pay 2.5%. Permittees pay 2.5% plus a 7.5% permit fee, or 12.5% on U.S. productions.

Once approved, complete registration and pay the application fee in full
